This Saturday 2nd February 2019 we have two wonderful poets, Niel Smith + Fable Goldsmith, and open-mike.
Niel Smith is a first generation Australian, father of five and a primary school principal. As a spoken word artist Niel cuts to the heart of today’s societal and political issues in an honest, personal and, sometimes humorous, perspective.
This Saturday 19th January 2019 we have two wonderful poets, Ananda Barton + Jane Cornes Maclean, and open-mike.
Seventeen days after Ananda Barton was born the United States abandoned the gold standard, although there is no proven link between these two events. Born in Western Australia and growing up in the South West, Ananda’s life has encompassed unemployment, studying ancient history at UWA, the State public service and appointment as an officer in the army of an unrecognized nation.
