Perth Poetry Club has wonderful poets Shae O’Reilly & Elio Novello + open-mike this Saturday 6th May, 2pm-4pm at The Moon Café and on ZOOM.

Shae O’Reilly is a multidisciplinary artist whose first love will always be writing. Shae is partial to “punk poetry” and telling it like it is.  As far as inspiration goes, she can’t go past Kae Tempest, adores the bravery and fierceness of Sinead O’Connor and always returns to that vile, wonderful man Bukowski.

SPLODGE is an apocalyptic sound poet singer and renowned mumbler of things that makes sense when ones asleep particularly at 6am whilst creating milky drinks for the cat  x

So we & whomever invites you to join her, him & all in between for an interesting afternoon of stuff & nonsense, peer reviewed & sanctioned by the floaty bits colliding between the ears.

Saturday 1st April, Don Smith + open-mike at The Moon Cafe!

Perth Poetry Club has wonderful poet Don Smith + open-mike this Saturday 1st April 2pm-4pm at The Moon Café.

Don Smith is a comedian. musician, actor and more recently a bus driver. He has done two one man shows at The Blue Room and many performances for Barefaced Stories, at the Bird and Rachebite hall. He relaxes by swimming and sailing in the river. He likes to mix poetry with story-telling and comedy. When it comes to personal philosophy, he likes to consider himself as a belligerent non-committant.
