Lisa Collyer is an author in Boorloo (Perth). She is the author of two poetry collections, Gold Digger (2025) and How To Order Eggs Sunny Side Up (2023) (short-listed for The Dorothy Hewett Award): both published with Life Before Man Books. Her personal essay, Prolonged Exposure is published in the anthology, Women of a Certain Courage (2025) with Fremantle Press. Her poem, ‘The Grape Pickers’ was short-listed for the Gwen Harwood Poetry Prize (2025). She was a recent artist in residence at Bundanon Art Museum (2025) where she created new work on climate grief.
Jenifer Hetherington lives in Wayalup on Whadjuk Boodjar. She writes poetry and short fiction; her work has been published in numerous journals. A participant in the Writing WA Emerging Writer’s 2024/25 Programme, she confesses to reading poetry at traffic lights. Now cat-less, and despite her beliefs about sustainability, lures neighbours’ felines into her garden. The ocean, forests and story are her refuge in our troubled world. Walking with her granddaughter, accompanied by an invisible unicorn who likes to eat pink flowers, is a source of great delight.
