Saturday 11th October, Nora J Who Journals + open-mike, at The Moon Cafe, on Zoom!

.
Perth Poetry Club this Saturday 11th October, 2pm-4pm,
has wonderful poet Nora J Who Journals + open-mike
at The Moon Café, 323 William Street Northbridge and on ZOOM

Nora J Who Journals is a deadgirl, a force for reclamation and resting bitch face. She spent her teen years asleep exploring her vivid dreams, avoiding the mediocrity of the waking world, and neglecting her responsibilities. She falls in love with people she cannot reach and obsesses over them from afar. When not trying to balance egodeath with boundaries, or orthostatic hypotension with nerve pain, she'll bite off more than she can chew. Nora has had to visit the optometrist seven times due to injuring her eye muscles from rolling her eyes too hard.

NJ?J hopes her poetry highlights the fact that the ocean was disgusting before it was full of plastic. Her sister Mina is a little too obsessed with killing cops while playing GTA, and she's pretty sure Mina has to stop and type a cheatcode in her head mid-conversation. Nora hopes to retire at age 80 riding a levitating motorcycle through rural America, if people are still allowed to do that by then. Nora ate the fruit and spices of the underworld looking for that promotion, but only got a Cassandra Complex.

You just have to be there to find out who Nora J Who Journals is.
Open-mike as always. DON’T MISS IT
