.
Perth Poetry Club has wonderful poets Parth Rahatekar (India/Vic) & Melanie Coram
this Saturday 9th August, 2pm-4pm, at The Moon Café, 323 William Street Northbridge and on ZOOM.

Parth Rahatekar is a writer and poet from Pune, based in Melbourne. Recently, they were a poetry fellow for The Queer Muslim Project and British Council. Their work explores love, intergenerational violence, and healing. It has appeared globally, including in Vogue India, at the Kolkata Lit Meet and more.

Melanie Coram is a journalist and poet living and working in Boorloo (Perth). She has worked as a reporter and subeditor for newspapers in WA and overseas. Melanie started writing and performing poetry after being inspired by nature’s grace, human absurdity and Perth’s diverse poetry scene. She favours language with clean lines and is intrigued by the games Surrealists play.
