Perth Poetry Club has the launch of Wild Whispers 1 Poetry Magazine and wonderful poet Splodge + open-mike this Saturday 12th April, 2pm-4pm at The Moon Café, 323 William Street Northbridge, and on ZOOM.
Launch of Wild Whispers Poetry Magazine Vol. 1 Issue 1, by Deanne Leber (Vol. 1 poetry selector), Wendy Beach & Mar Bucknell. Wendy Beach launched Wild Whispers Poetry Magazine, an online poetry magazine for short poems five lines or less, in December. The launch speech this Saturday will be followed by readings from Volume 1, Issue 1. Wild Whispers Poetry Magazine operates from both Perth, Western Australia and County Down, Northern Ireland.
Splodge is a mistaken object connected to a mouth that makes noises that they’d love to share. He also is an English-born performance poet, writer, interventionist and artist. He is dynamic. His voice is velvet smooth. His words dance through your senses; take you to surprising places! His poetry has featured on both the written page and nebulous web, but it is best to experience it live.
