Perth Poetry Club this Saturday 30th July has wonderful poet Skylar J Wynter + open-mike, at THE MOON CAFÉ, on Zoom.
Skylar J Wynter is the best-selling Author of poetry and flash fiction collection, Pieces of Humanity released in 2020 and recently launched poetry and art collection entitled, Shine. She shares her poetry in the hopes it will help others find peace within their own realities and encourage humanity to reach out to each other with decency.
She is a guest poet at this years Red Room WA Poetry Month Showcase in partnership with The City of Fremantle Library at Freo Social on Thurs 25 August 7-9pm. Headed overseas at the end of September on her Decent Beings Book Tour, she will be featuring at events in Aberdeen, Manchester, Derry, Wales, Birmingham, Worcester, Leeds, Leicester, Stamford, Peterborough, Paris, Belfast and Letterkenny.
She loves a great book, a sunny day and witnessing humans behaving decently. She hates cooking, and injustice, hopes Covid-19 disappears and online poetry events don’t, and that someone finds a way to make celery taste like cheesecake.
We are in for a great afternoon of poetry this Saturday afternoon 2pm - 4pm.
The venue is The Moon Café, 323 William St, Northbridge and on ZOOM.
