Perth Poetry Club this Saturday 23rd July has wonderful poet Rose van Son + open-mike, at THE MOON CAFÉ.
There will be no Zoom from the Moon as Elio contracted Covid..
Rose van Son’s writing appears in literary journals including Cordite, Rabbit, Westerly, Australian Poetry and Australian Poetry Anthology. She was guest poet at the Perth Poetry Festival, 2015, Corrugated Lines, Broome, 2015, New Norcia Writer’s Festival 2018, and York Writers’ Festival WA, 2021. Her poetry collection, Cloak of Letters (Sunline Press) was published in 2019; Nature’s Warehouse, Birds in Focus, with colour images, was also launched in 2019. Her haiku collection from the open doorway was launched June 2022. Her poetic passions include history, nature, philosophy, family. She is excited to be Patron of the Perth Poetry Festival 2022.
We are in for a great afternoon of poetry this Saturday afternoon 2pm - 4pm.
