Perth Poetry Club this Saturday 2nd April has had to cancel wonderful poet Yvonne Patterson’s feature.
We had Ben, sound engineer, get Covid – that was on Sunday. Elio has had to do a PCR and mini-quarantine for safety sake. Elio was closest to Ben last Saturday – both were wearing masks. Technically Elio is not a close contact, but we have erred on the side of caution. Also we liaised with Yvonne as what to best do from her perspective.
We will re-schedule Yvonne and we will not meet at the Moon Café this week.
We will however continue with the gig, via ZOOM, with:
WAR HAIKU WW1, WW2, Vietnam and other wars – why does Haiku gain a degree of prominence amidst the trenches and the horrors of war?
+ Extended Open-mike
