Zan Ross (pictured left) is a poet who likes to think of herself as being from Fremantle, although the closest she's gotten in the past twenty-five years is East Fremantle. She has been published in all the usual journals and a number of anthologies in Australia, and a few anthologies/journals in Canada, Budapest, Paris, the U.S. and in on-line zines. She has two collections to her credit: B-Grade through Monogene Press and Enpassant through Fremantle Arts Centre Press. One chapbook, " Je ne said quoi" was published by Vagabond Press. Zan has performed widely in N.S.W., W.A. and Tasmania, but hasn't yet been given a crack at other states.
Danielle Calleja (pictured right) has been scribbling away for years and sometimes other people have liked her chicken scratchings. She has performed at two Poetry Slams, at Cottonmouth (in front of whooping hipsters) and has MCed at the Katharine Susannah Pritchard Writer's Centre on a number of occasions. She has taught for years and has run writer's groups at KSP. She is a confirmed word nerd.
