This Saturday we have the launch of Glen Phillips’ two new books Slings and Arrows I & II with mega features, Jenny Davis, Jan Napier, Jackson, Peter Jeffery, and Bryn Griffiths reading from his books, launch speech by Bryn, response by Glen. Open-mike as usual. Some food and refreshments provided after 4pm.
All this Saturday 8th April 2017 at Perth Poetry Club – a book launch embedded in the gig.
Glen Phillips is a poet and professor, born 1936 in Southern Cross, WA. He has taught all his working life and is internationally published with some 50 books and chapbooks, 10 short stories and dozens of poems. Glen is Director of Edith Cowan University’s International Centre for Landscape and Language in Perth. His two new books, Slings and Arrows have the following WARNING: Books May Contain Traces of Satire, which fits in well with our open-mike.
