Whats On

We have two poets bridging the generations, Ron Okely and Will Leach, this Saturday 6^th May 2017 at Perth Poetry Club.

An evening of poetry and plays, co-produced by Westerly Magazine and The Highly Strung Players.

This Saturday (22^nd April 2017) is our Mega Open-Mike Event, where everyone is a feature.  Perth Poetry Club holds these as an opportunity for every open-miker to be a feature with 5 minutes (maximum) of performance time. 

Guest MCs are Maddie Godfrey, Jakob Boyd and Allan Padgett.  Who knows what will happen. 

'Poetry In Conversation' is a chance for you to listen to some of Perth’s best poets in an interview format with Robert Wood. These sessions are designed as an introduction and exploration of how poets write, read and talk. They will feature readings of poems as well as the opportunity for you to hear about the poet’s influences, process and work. This will give you the chance to listen to the stories behind the poetry for which they are known.
