Gabrielle (Gabby) Everall has a PhD in Creative Writing.  The second edition of her book Dona Juanita and the love of boys was published with Buon-Cattivi Press.  John Kinsella included Dona Juanita and the love of boys as one of the best poetry books for 2020 in Australian Book Review.

Gabriela Antonini is a Slovakia-born writer, reader, artist, poet, kickboxer who has too many hobbies and spills her coffee on herself daily.  She drinks too much water, cares too much about too many people, and never stops studying.

Perth Poetry Club this Saturday 28th May has wonderful poet Lana Moon + open-mike, at THE MOON CAFÉ.

Lana Moon (she/her) is a non-binary trans poet and parent based in Perth who mostly speaks about whatever is tugging at her heartstrings at any given moment; with a focus on mental health, addiction, love, loss and everything in between.  She is emerging from an extended hermit cycle to feature at Perth Poetry Club for the second time.

Please join us to celebrate poetry this Saturday afternoon 2pm - 4pm.

Saturday 21st May, Virginia O'Keefe, Jonathan Mustard + open-mike at the Moon Cafe!

Perth Poetry Club this Saturday 21st May has wonderful poets Virginia O’Keefe & Jonathan Mustard + open-mike, at THE MOON CAFÉ.

Virginia O’Keefe writes in a relatively traditional style. Last year she won the Creatrix Prize for Poetry and The Poetry D'Amour Prize 2021.  She has also won the Creative Connections Prize and been twice short listed for the Tom Collins.  Her work is published on-line in Creatrix, and various Perth based anthologies.

As replacement we are moving our June Mega Open-mike forward to April

Perth Poetry Club this Saturday 30th April has its quarterly Mega Open-mike event, via ZOOM and at THE MOON CAFÉ.

This is an opportunity for every open-miker to be a feature with 5 minutes (maximum) of performance time.

Best to prepare your performance. Try something different, experimental. Edit and refresh your poems. Hone your performance skills.
