This Saturday, we have the "Well Versed" poets performing famous Australian poems and some of their own as well as Dante, and with any luck we may have a centenarian gracing the stage.
Well Versed is a collective of experienced performers offering quality entertainment through readings of the published poetry of other people. They have now been working together for four years, sharing their passion for poetry by devising and presenting more than forty specially prepared programmes, both public and private, covering the full gamut of subjects on which verse has been written, learned to light-hearted, classical and modern, with the sole intention of keeping poetry accessible, alive and vibrant.
Current members of Well Versed are: Faith Clayton, David Goodall, Rayden James, Valerie Melrose, Rick Hearder, Pat Stroud, Rosemary Longhurst and Rita Pasqualini
Join us for a delightful Saturday afternoon 2pm-4pm, 27th August at The Moon Café 323 William St Northbridge to see and hear Well Versed. Open mike as always.
