John Robert Grogan (JR) is an Irish-Australian poet, who plays tradesperson by day and has been based in Sydney, Australia for sixteen years. Childhood in the Wicklow mountains in Ireland, time in the Mediterranean and his Australian wanderings, cultivated a curiosity and love for the natural world, and the connectivity of all things.
He has featured twice at the Sydney Poetry Lounge and at Poetica in 2020.
He has had poems previously published in: Poetry for the Planet Anthology, Live Encounters: Special Edition May 2021, The Blue Nib and From Whispers to Roars literary magazine.

Recent Perth transplant Matt Loeb originally hails from Windsor, Ontario Canada, and was a regular performer and host at the weekly Vancouver Poetry Slam from 2013-2019.
Matt Loeb published his first full length spoken word album "Enough Has Happened" in 2013. He was a finalist at the Canadian Individual Poetry Slam in 2014 and 2017 and coached the 2018 Vancouver Youth Poetry Slam Team. Matt is also one of only three Canadian poets to complete the “Century Challenge” of writing and performing 100 poems, in competition, without repeating.
Matt’s storytelling has been featured at Story Collier and the game show Story Story Lie. From 2013 - 2016 Matt wrote the webcomic Brain Thought Word Say and his nerd themed poetry has also been featured on i09.
In 2015 he founded the Windsor Poetry Slam to connect his hometown with the wider Canadian Poetry Community and introduce Windsor's diverse arts community to the ridiculous falsehood of competitive poetry.
