This Saturday 26th June 2pm-4pm we have wonderful poet Sundra Lawrence (UK) + open-mike at the Moon Café and on Zoom.
Sundra Lawrence is a UK based poet and writer of British Tamil heritage. She has performed her work across the UK and internationally, from the Queen Elizabeth Hall, Southbank to the Jazz Cafe in Prague. Her poetry and short stories have been broadcast on national television, radio and podcasts.
Sundra’s work has also appeared in art exhibitions, in March 2021 her poem Skywalk was an installation piece at the Inside Outside exhibition in Shanghai. Her work is published in numerous anthologies including the Los Angeles Review. Her new work will appear in anthologies: We Find Ourselves Here, Arachne Press (2021/22) and Too Young Too Loud Too Different, anthology Corsair 2021. She is the founder and director of Write Lines, and teaches creative writing.
