This Saturday 6th October 2018 we have the re-launch of In the Hollow of the Land by Glen Phillips & friends at Perth Poetry Club.
Glen Phillips, born in 1936 in Southern Cross WA, has taught all his working life with 50 years at ECU and is internationally recognised and published.
He is Director of the International Centre for Landscape and Language at ECU, an Honorary Professor, and patron of KSP Writers’ Centre.
Glen’s poems have been published in more than 50 anthologies, journals and newspapers in Australia, Asia, America and Italy and he has read poetry to audiences at festivals or conferences in most Australian state capitals and in towns all over his home state of WA. He has been invited to read poetry at Cambridge University (UK) and Kenyon College (Ohio), and at universities in Italy, Spain, Denmark, China, India, Thailand and Singapore. His poems have been screened on ABCTV and SBS and regional TV networks.

Finger food provided at half-time.
Consider it as a normal Perth Poetry Club gig with usual open-mike, and the launch being the feature extending into both halves.
Join us this Saturday afternoon 2pm - 4pm at the Moon Café, 323 William Street Northbridge to hear Glen Phillips & friends and the re-launch of Glen’s In the Hollow of the Land. Open-mike as well.
