A. R. Levett is an award-winning, emerging WA author and poet with a Bachelor of Writing and first-class Bachelor of Communications (Honours). Andrew’s work spans myriad forms and genres. He has appeared at Perth Poetry Club as an open-miker, now will be a feature.
Andrew runs The Story Mentor, helping budding writers hone their skills and turn their ideas into engaging stories through mentoring, editing and writing workshops. His continued support of the creative writing community ranges from judging competitions and facilitating writing groups, to running workshops, editing articles, and working on the KSP Board of Management. Currently he is writing his first epic fantasy-fiction novel, 'The Rebels', which is part of his PhD thesis: 'Naming the Unnameable: Confronting Trauma through Fantasy-Fiction Metaphor'.
