This Saturday, it’s Sanna Peden as our feature, 30th September 2017 at Perth Poetry Club.

Sanna Peden is a performance poet and writer whose work ranges from creepy to speculative, from confessional to abstract.  Sanna’s poetry has appeared in Cordite Poetry Review, Creatrix and Visible Ink; and she has been a feature reader at Perth Poetry Club, Spoken Word Perth, Voicebox, the Perth Poetry Festival and the 2017 Denmark Festival of Voice.  Her other credits include a dubious past as a cabaret girl and as a university lecturer. Sanna is currently gearing up for the All Star Slam and 22Pillars poetry at this year's Fremantle Festival.

Sanna is an engaging performer who sits in the shaded bit of the Venn diagram where humour, darkness and drama overlap.

Forget about the footy finals.  You can download replays of them ad nauseam, but you can’t miss the real thing in Sanna Peden this Saturday afternoon 2pm-4pm at the Moon Café, 323 William Street Northbridge.
