An evening of poetry and plays, co-produced by Westerly Magazine and The Highly Strung Players.
The evening will feature four young Westerly poets, including 2016 Writers' Development Program participants Chris Arnold and Alexis Lateef, Westerly: Crossings guest editor Amy Hilhorst, and contributor Robert Wood.
The poets will be reading from their own work, followed by a dramatic reading of two plays by The Highly Strung Players, an ensemble dedicated to the performance of works of absurdist drama. The plays include The Ones After Them, written by Peter Rose and Waste, written by Shannon Burns. Both plays will be performed by Peter Rose and Francesca Sasnaitis.
Drinks and light nibbles will be available.
